As the Sr. Software Engineer - JavaScript SDKs you will get to leverage the power of WebRTC and develop a global, highly scalable, easy to use communications platform to be used by more than 700,000 developers across the globe.

* Develop JavaScript SDKs for Twilio's services. * Work with product management to define developer-facing JavaScript APIs. * Keep Twilio's JavaScript SDKs on the cutting edge of the JavaScript ecosystem. * Challenge the team to high standards of technical excellence - drive architecture, coding standards, maintain development best practices. * Successful candidates will be strong developers with experience in shipping high-profile user-facing products and working with complex, cross-platform code bases.

* You are an expert in the JavaScript language. * You are comfortable working in a Node.js environment. * You keep up to speed with the latest JavaScript specifications like WebRTC, promises, etc. * You have played with WebRTC or WebSockets and can't get enough of it. * REST APIs and WebSockets are second nature to you. * Deep knowledge of agile software development processes and tools like Git, Jenkins and Jira. * Solid understanding of testing, continuous integration and deployment practices. * Enthusiasm for working in a high profile, fast-paced startup culture.
