Summary
About the Role: AdRoll is committed to building an innovative, cutting edge and effective stack of tools to support Sales, Account Management, Finance, BI and other critical teams. With that in mind, we are looking for a strong coder who is energetic and dynamic to be the go-to person for developing and extending our Salesforce infrastructure to help accomplish this. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our continued success during our rapid and international growth, and your impact on the bottom line will be significant. Responsibilities
Responsibilities: * Participate in requirements and solution design sessions, working closely with leaders from across the entire organization. * Collaborate on and inform multiple AdRoll teams of new feature technical design, technical requirements, limitations, and implementation. * Define technical impacts, recommend best-practice or alternate approaches and and provide timeline estimates. * Develop brand new features and capabilities using Force.com, APEX, Visualforce, and other technologies. * Test, QA, analyze, deploy and address issues with products and features. * Follow an iterative software development methodology and take part in all phases of the software development lifecycle and support. * Articulate development status to technical and non-technical audiences, interacting with teams such as marketing, finance, legal, sales, etc. * You'll continually refine intuition for business and establish domain / industry vertical expertise.
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications: * Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or comparable work experience (4-6 years). * At least 3 years of experience working in Salesforce/Apex/Java engineering. * You are experienced in the Force.com platform; APEX/Java, Visualforce and SOQL, etc. * You have experience with Salesforce integrations and 3rd party REST/SOAP web service APIs. * You are a strong communicator who knows how to tailor messages to the appropriate audience. * You are experienced at explaining technical concepts to a non-technical audience. * You’re able to be a one man or woman team in leading QA, user support, deployments and maintenance * You enjoy having the freedom to take ownership of your projects from concept to finish
