Responsibilities
The Sales Director is responsible for the leadership, new client sales and revenue growth, relationship management, account management, and retention of TRIOSE’s customers across the country. This position will proactively lead a team of Region Account Managers in an environment that fosters sales and revenue growth, building upon a relationship selling and account management model that furthers the sales and profit goals of TRIOSE. You would be responsible for managing and monitoring the daily sales activities of the Region Account Managers and will take a very active role in traveling with each direct report on a routine basis to offer coaching and mentoring on their sales skills, as well as using your experiences and talents to help close sales and build excellent client relationships. This position will further ensure that the Region Account Managers are effectively utilizing their time by managing their allocation of customer care calls, business reviews, prospecting calls and electronic communications per company policies & procedures.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in business or marketing preferred or its equivalent in experience is required * Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a similar role, including successfully managing clients and a book of business in a multi-state geography and successfully leading teams in selling and demonstrating solutions and services to all director level and “C” suite level executives. * Advanced knowledge of and experience working with hospital and health system management, procurement, Group Purchasing Organizations, contracting and materials management is a plus * Knowledge of supply chain logistics is desired, with a background and experience in selling solutions in Hospital Freight Management, Courier Management, Supply Chain Consulting, and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Services, to hospitals, health systems and healthcare networks is a plus * Strong communication, mentoring, training and relationship selling skills * Active listening skills and probing abilities to effectively qualify prospect and client needs and define their requirements * PC Skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software and willingness and ability to lead the change to new technology approved by Senior Management * Transportation (Current Drivers License & Clean Driving Record) * Demonstrate excellent oral and written communications skills * Must have effective listening skills, positive attitude, and strong follow-up and organizational skills * 50-70% travel required and must own reliable transportation * Ability to supervise 5 – 7 employees
