Summary
The Vice President of Reservations Product Marketing is responsible for driving the growth of TravelClick’s iHotelier Central Reservations System (CRS) business. The CRS anchors the TravelClick Bundle, which combines all of TraveClick’s product families to deliver maximum value to hotel customers.
Responsibilities
* Create compelling value propositions and go to market plans that achieve sales, revenue, and profit targets * Drive large strategic Bundle sales by owning key deals in partnership with field sales force * Represent the voice of the customer to shape the overall CRS product strategy and roadmap * Serve as a distribution thought leader in the hospitality industry – Understand industry trends, represent TravelClick at key industry events, and position our solution to win in an evolving marketplace * Lead a team of field marketers to train sellers on CRS capabilities and Bundle positioning, and demo and price products
Ideal Candidate
* BA/BS Degree, MBA preferred * 10+ years of experience working in the hospitality industry and/or technology * Functional expertise in distribution/revenue management, product marketing, and/or sales * Superb communicator, eloquent and compelling in front of employees, vendors, clients, and board of directors, as a role model for the organization * Dynamic leader with proven ability to build, grow, and motivate teams. Strong track record of acquiring and retaining top talent * Successful operator in a sales driven culture * Proven thought leader, leveraging data and analytical approach to shape strategies * Action oriented, addressing challenges and opportunities proactively * History of always acting with integrity and collaborating well with executive teams * Bright, quick, pro-active decision maker with strong people skills, who can adapt quickly to the company's operating environment and capture the trust and respect of colleagues at all levels
