Visitor Center Representative

Established in 1909, the Tillamook County Creamery Association (TCCA) is a cooperative of 110 dairy farming families guided by century-old values of quality, cooperation, integrity, stewardship and responsiveness. Since then, the farmer-owners of Tillamook have been committed to providing families with the most consistent, best tasting, highest quality dairy products made in the most natural way possible.

Tillamook County Creamery Association is seeking courteous, helpful, enthusiastic individuals with extraordinary guest service skills to fill vacancies in our fast-paced Visitors’ Center. We currently have an opening at our fudge counter. You will work alongside our experienced team members to provide excellent guest service to the one million guests that visit us annually.

* Work at fudge counter when assigned; making fudge, cutting pieces to order, weighing and boxing for sale. * Perform cashiering operations and functions; providing accurate, efficient and friendly customer service whether in the gift shop or at the cashier island. Accurately manage cash drawer assigned daily and work with security of funds in mind. * Perform opening or closing procedures as assigned. * Assist customers on the sales floor by answering questions, locating product/merchandise, and actively suggestive selling. * Stock and fill shelves with merchandise, including beverages, confections, cheese, souvenirs and gift items, depending on the day’s assignment. * Straighten and clean all merchandise displays and counter areas. Retrieve merchandise and/or boxes from various stockrooms for gift shop customers. * Assist Lead with register closing and reconciliation duties on occasion when proper training has been received.

**Education and Experience** * High school diploma or GED is preferred. * Previous customer service experience is preferred. * Previous cashiering experience is preferred. * Must be able to obtain Food Handler's card. **Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** * Ability to communicate effectively and to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors and the general public. * Must be a team player and be able to interact with staff at all levels of the company. * Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently with little supervision. **Physical Requirements:** * Must be able to stand for full shift * Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
