Full­stack Web Engineering Intern

Tile has invented a simple and sleek location tracking app that can be used to track any item users don’t want to misplace. Users can place small, affordable Tiles on wallets, purses, computers, luggage, etc., allowing them to communicate within the world’s largest lost and found network.

Tile is looking for a Full­stack Web Engineering Intern.

• Capable of working both on the client­side/front­end and on the server­side/backend.
• Familiarity with a few of the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Java.
• Familiarity with a few of the following: jQuery, React, Backbone.js, RequireJS.
• Some understanding of a relational database system (like MySQL).
• Interested in all things from visual and interaction design to scalability of the backend
• systems and everything else that will enable a world­class experience for Tile users.

• Pursuing a BS, MS or PhD degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong programming and CS fundamentals.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Passion for emerging technologies, mobile applications and the Internet of Things
• Industry.
