Housekeeping Porter

The Olympic Club is comprised of two beautiful properties - the City Clubhouse in downtown San Francisco and The Olympic Club at Lakeside on the border of San Francisco and Daly City. Clean and maintain the cleanliness and the appearance of all member and employee areas of the Clubhouse. Our Porters also set up and break down rooms for banquets and events which requires moving furniture (tables, chairs, etc.) around the clubhouse.

Functions will include vacuuming, moving tables and furniture, cleaning restrooms, dusting, mopping, pushing and pulling furniture and equipment, read floor plan diagrams and communicating with members, guests and coworkers. * Maintain cleanliness of public areas including food and beverage outlets, offices, athletic space, restrooms & locker rooms. * Assist staff when needed for banquet set up and break downs, etc. * Assist and work as a team with other housekeeping porters, staff and management.

* Basic English communication skills required. * Basic verbal communication with members and coworkers. * Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs. * Ability to push and pull 60+ lbs. **Desired Experience** * Previous janitorial experience a plus. * Experience working in hospitality. * Use of housekeeping equipment including a floor buffer machine and carpet extractor.
