Web And Mobile Application Developer

The Aerospace Corporation has provided independent technical and scientific research, development, and advisory services to national security space programs since 1960. We operate a federally funded research and development center (FFRDC) for the United States Air Force and the National Reconnaissance Office, and support all national security space programs.

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking a bright and enthusiastic Web Application Developer to help us build our next generation of web and mobile apps that integrate with a variety of external systems.

* Develop enterprise web and mobile enabled applications using AngularJS, PHP CodeIgniter, and other web frameworks. * Build applications that integrate data from various backend databases and data sources. * Work in a test-driven agile team environment * Maintain fluency in web and mobile development technologies and learn new programming languages and technologies as required. * Interact with business analysts to understand and implement efficient and innovative solutions to their business processes * Code review and participation in pair and team programming

**Required** * BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline from a recognized institution. * Experience and/or coursework in object oriented programming, MVC, web application development, and relational database design. * Extensive knowledge of JavaScript. * Experience with web services and integration with other systems. * This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance. **Preferred** * Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, React, or Node.js. * Experience with NoSQL databases. * Experience with the MEAN or similar development stack. * Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum) * Familiarity with WordPress and Microsoft SharePoint * Knowledge of version control systems such as Git. **Transcript Requirement** * None
