Summary
Manages all aspects of projects related to human resources information systems from initiation to completion. Ensures projects are completed on time, in accordance with project specifications, and within approved budget. The successful candidate will be placed at a level commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with management to ensure alignment of project priorities with organizational goals. - Monitor and report on portfolio of projects, including project milestones, cost and schedule variances, potential risks and other key portfolio issues. - Analyzes project requirements and develops project plan and charter. - Estimates costs, resources and time required to complete deliverables. - Coordinates activities of project team and/or outside contractors to ensure milestones are met. - Tracks project progress and monitors performance against plan. - Identifies and resolves issues; escalates issues as necessary. - Facilitates meetings and prepares reports and presentations to communicate project status. - Trains, mentors, and assists in providing direction to other Project Managers.
Ideal Candidate
**Education** - Bachelor's degree required - PMP certification preferred **Experience** - Minimum 6 years of project management experience required - Minimum 4 years of experience managing multiple, concurrent projects using disciplined project management principles, practices, and methodologies - Advanced understanding of project management principles, practices, and methodologies - Effective oral and written communication skills - Ability to present to management - Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project - Ability to independently lead large and complex projects
