Summary
Regional CPA firm seeks an experienced Senior Manager { but HANDS ON } for its Quality Control Department. This position is the firms principle resource in all matters affecting the conduct of the accounting and auditing practice
Responsibilities
* Maintaining up to date standards of proficiency in the areas of accounting and auditing. * Provides assurance that professional practices and procedures comply with the established quality control standards. * Perform Initial Pre-issuance Reviews of large clients. * Perform Concurring Reviews. * Update Firm on technical changes and new pronouncements - AICPA , FASB, etc.
Ideal Candidate
* CPA * Minimum five years of strong technical audit experience in a CPA Firm * Experience in a QC department of a regional or national CPA firm * Experience in some of the following: * Not- for- profit * A-133 * HUD * Health Care * Employee Benefit Plans * Ability to present and defend findings
