Summary

Regional CPA firm seeks an experienced Senior Manager { but HANDS ON } for its Quality Control Department.

This position is the firms principle resource in all matters affecting the conduct of the accounting and auditing practice

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining up to date standards of proficiency in the areas of accounting and auditing.
  • Provides assurance that professional practices and procedures comply with the established quality control standards.
  • Perform Initial Pre-issuance Reviews of large clients.
  • Perform Concurring Reviews.
  • Update Firm on technical changes and new pronouncements - AICPA , FASB, etc.
Ideal Candidate
  • CPA
  • Minimum five years of strong technical audit experience in a CPA Firm
  • Experience in a QC department of a regional or national CPA firm
  • Experience in some of the following:
    • Not- for- profit
    • A-133
    • HUD
    • Health Care
    • Employee Benefit Plans
  • Ability to present and defend findings
