Summary
This position will be responsible for driving Facility and Breakroom category sales within Staples Inside Sales group. You will collaborate with Inside Account Managers (IAMs) to help them identify facilities opportunities within our existing Office Supply customer base and ultimately add Facility and Breakroom products to their orders, in addition to identifying and closing Facility and Breakroom programs. You will also act as a conduit between the outside Facilities Solution Sales (FSS) Team and Facility Implementation Team to ensure that the programs are implemented and supported properly.
Responsibilities
* Provide support for the IAMs for Facility and Breakroom products * Conduct regular trainings with the IAMs including but not limited to: * Customer profiling and qualifying * Selling solutions * New product trainings * New marketing campaigns * Facility and Breakroom procedures * Support IAM’s by co-selling to existing customers via a consultative approach, in addition to resolving any customer selling issues around the category * Proactively selling FS products into IAM owned accounts * Assist IAM team during customer facility pricing / bid exercises. * Actively work on Facility and Breakroom customer opportunities * Conduct analysis to find Facility and Breakroom customer opportunities * Share findings with IAMs and consult on strategic approach for customer engagement * Track and manage all opportunities and pipeline via Salesforce.com to ensure all program requirements are met during the selling, implementation, and maintenance phases * Manage IAM leads via SalesForce.com * Attend Facility Solutions team meetings to learn new product information, marketing information and procedures that would then be shared with the IAM team * Attend/participate in IAM weekly and monthly team meetings to share best practices and educate IAM teams on Staples Facilities offering * Be an active participant in sharing the unique needs of the IAM team and what should be changed to support them.
Ideal Candidate
**Basic:** * 3 - 5 Years of Facility and Breakroom sales experience and solid product knowledge * Proven ability to sell as part of a team * Professional, effective communication style by phone * Resourcefulness that demonstrates independent working capabilities * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting agreed-upon deadlines * Proven ability to manage full-cycle of Facilities and Breakroom selling process, from initial evaluation of needs, through identifying appropriate products/vendors, working with bid/quote team for pricing, working with implementation team for installations, and follow-up to insure satisfaction with product and service **Preferred:** * Bachelor's Degree
