Sealy has in-house capabilities that include development, acquisition, disposition, marketing, leasing, property operation, property management, financing, financial reporting, accounting and administration.
Sealy currently has an opening for a Property Manager in our New Orleans office. This position has the responsibility of overseeing property management and administrative operations for industrial and office portfolios in suburban New Orleans and Baton Rouge markets.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of 1.8 million S.F. - 25 industrial and office buildings
- Develop and maintain working relationships with tenants and decision makers, which includes regular tenant and property visits.
- Coordinate and assure resolution of tenant issues.
- Manage and oversee tenant improvement construction, roof replacements and concrete work.
- Process property invoices thru AVID.
- Review receivable reports and handle issues as needed. Experienced in the use of Yardi software a plus.
- Personnel Management (maintenance engineers)

- Self-motivated and independent thinker.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or property management
- Well organized, self-starter.
- Time management, able to multi task
- Must have the ability to work in a high paced environment
- Work independently as well as with a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Physical ability to climb ladders and inspect roofs
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial property management experience. Industrial property preferred.
- Knowledge of facilities and properties management
- Real estate accounting software experience a plus – MRI or Yardi preferred
