Plant Apprentice Electrician

The Apprentice Plant Electrician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment associated with an electric generating station. Equipment includes medium voltage switch gear, ac and dc motors, generators, motor controllers, power distribution systems, electromechanical controls, programmable logic controllers, and industrial lighting.

Minimum requirements are an associate degree in industrial electrical maintenance OR have a diploma from a high school accredited by an organization that is recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation or one of the entities recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or GED and four years of hands-on experience working as an industrial electrician.
