Summary
The SCA North America, Away from Home (AfH) Professional Hygiene, Sales team, is currently searching for an End Customer Sales Representative for our Virginia region. The End Customer Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling the organization's value added products and services targeting business at the end-user level. This role is designed to support the overall District's sales goals and drive business back through our Strategic Distribution Partners. The person will concentrate on the entire line of value added products- napkins, towel, tissue, soap, and wipers.
Responsibilities
* Primary focus is on prospecting for new end user business. Translate sales plans into sales activities per customer/account, monitor and adapt sales activities on a regular basis so that objectives are met; * Develops new value-added business at the end-customer level. Pursue sales leads; * Visit existing customers and prospects according to GTM guidelines and existing sales processes; * Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services; * Respond to customer enquiries; * Conduct appropriate training/consultancy; * Negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority; * Conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets; * Focused sales efforts intended to assist the District in achieving its volume and net margin goals with strategic distributor customers; * Heavy emphasis on prospecting, qualifying and acquiring new end-customer business identified by market research; * Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business; * Works with Distributor Account Executives and distributor DSR’s as directed by the DSM to pull business through strategic distribution; * Actively acquires competitive information on products and pricing which flows to the DM and revenue management; * Will be assigned to specific large end-customer accounts or segments to target and acquire within a market area or district; * Coordinates with DSMs, BDMs, SAMs or NAMs to execute large regional programs and aids NA in executing the closing of end-customers to land the business for strategic distribution; * Perform other essential responsibilities as deemed necessary; * Initiate trial set-ups, arrange for samples and conduct site surveys; * Properly report sales activities using the SCA CRM system.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree preferred; Experience in lieu of education; * One plus (1+) years of relevant experience. * Excellent communication skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including; but not limited to, Excel, Word and Outlook * Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems or customer contact database applications * Must live in or around the assigned territory * Must meet SCA's Corporate Vehicle Policy Standards * TRAVEL: Ability for 30% travel
