Inside Agency Specialist

Safe Auto Insurance Company is a property and casualty auto insurance carrier based in Columbus, Ohio. Founded in 1993, we are built on a philosophy of customer service. As an Inside Agency Specialist, you will be responsible for making outbound calls to our agents to generate incremental profit and growth. You will also be handling inbound service calls and with providing superior service to both agents and customers. Our ideal candidate has a high school degree and one to two years of related experience and/or training. Has excellent communication and organizational skills. Has strong computer and phone skills and is able to multi task in a fast paced, autonomous environment while demonstrating persistence and problem solving skills. Candidate needs to be able to work effective from a work from home work arrangement and have an excellent work ethic.

* Analyze agency level profit and production information to determine which agents merit a proactive phone call. * Prioritize and proactively make outbound calls to existing agencies and well as agency prospects. * Identify third party information to identify good prospects for new agency candidates. * Utilize screen sharing software to train agency personnel how to quote and issue new business policies and provide service to customers. * Answer and respond to agent and customer policy requests and questions. * Complete follow up for missing and incomplete information. * Provide quality customer service through telephone communication. * Interpret and apply concepts based on company policies and procedures. * Document all conversations/transactions appropriately. * Take accountability for requests received and follow up to ensure correction is made to resolve problem or complaint. * Consistently meet and/or exceed required productivity and quality levels. * Work independently, display good judgment and problem solving skills. * Maintain professional attitude and focus. * Adhere to departmental and corporate policies and procedures. * Seek out enhancements on policies and procedures to gain efficiencies, and organization. * Maintain effective lines of communication with coworkers and management.

**Communication Skills** * Strong verbal and written communication skills are a required. * Must be able to effectively and clearly present information and answer questions in a wide variety of situations. * Must be able to read and interpret written reports and various forms of written communication and respond in an appropriate manner. * Ability to communicate with people in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining a high level of professionalism. **Mathematical & Reasoning Ability** * Must be resourceful, and have the ability to problem solve. * Ability to interpret, understands policies, and relates them to others. * Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, and proportions. **Education/Experience/Certification Requirements** * High School Diploma required. * Ability to problem solve and execute tasks. * Must have a strong commitment to servicing customers. * Must conduct telephone conversation in a pleasant professional tone. * Must possess excellent organizational and prioritization skills, and the ability to adapt quickly and effectively to shifting priorities. * The ability to maintain acceptable attendance according to the company attendance policy. * Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with co-workers and management in a work from home arrangement. * Strong Computer skills; Windows, MS Office, and Internet. * Ability to work flexible schedules.
