Summary
We’re seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time Sales and Marketing Coordinator within our Washington, DC office. The person in this position will work with our DC marketing and business development team to design and update collateral across digital and print including: advertisements, motion graphics, campaign collateral, and other material as needed to support our internal marketing initiatives. The person in this role will work closely with our marketing team, Creative Director, and designers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and marketing, with demonstrable expertise and experience creating high-quality deliverables. The candidate will also demonstrate knowledge in marketing best practices including email marketing, print layout, and paid advertising.
Responsibilities
* Create and customize proposal templates in tandem with new business team * Design and maintain branded templates across Microsoft and Adobe solutions * Design printed marketing collateral for marketing and business development teams * Layout and design infographics, whitepapers, checklists, tip-sheets, etc. * Maintain and update images and graphics on company website * Complete internal design needs in partnership with the marketing and new business team under the guidance of the Creative Director * Develop digital advertisements (static and motion graphics) for use across multiple digital platforms * Produce images to support social media posts, blog articles, internal/external newsletters * Stay up-to-speed on digital marketing best practices and social media trends * Leverage departmental resources for efficiency, and follow internal policies and procedures
Ideal Candidate
* BA/BS in graphic design or related field, experience in communications, marketing, or business develop is a plus * 1+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced agency or in-house brand environment * Portfolio of web designs that support brand campaigns or product messaging * Expertise in Adobe CS6: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign * Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship * Communicate clearly in all written and oral communication * Collaborate and work well within a team environment Washington, DC area candidates only * Ability to work independently and complete projects under deadlines * Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask
