Summary
We are seeking a Business Development Manager of Audience Monetization to grow our ever-expanding relationships with the Top 500 mobile app publishers in order to create branded advertising experiences for our Fortune 5000 customers.
Responsibilities
* Prospect, negotiate, and close partnerships with the Top 500 mobile app developers * Drive adoption of Phunware's various audience monetization and engagement products * Monitor daily metrics, program performance, traffic quality to identify areas for growth and improvement * Be involved in various consultative tasks to help support direct and indirect sales groups * As appropriate, represent Phunware at designated trade shows and conferences.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree is required * 2 to 4 years hands-on experience in mobile advertising with publishers and advertisers * Proven ability to effectively communicate and sell solutions, not products * Must have experience working with a cross-functional team such as adops, sales, marketing, and engineering * The ability to manage and track a personal prospecting funnel through a CRM or project manager * Have strong relationship/partnering skills and the ability to manage and grow relationships with publisher partners, while representing Phunware’s overall vision * Must be results-oriented and possess an entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in a demanding, fast-paced work environment * Stay current on industry trends, competitors, and potential partners * Must understand what makes an effective online marketing campaign * Ability to multitask and problem-solve * Enthusiastic about the mobile app space. Know the basic layout of the mobile industry and how apps work with ad platforms (e.g. SDK integrations, API integrations, Mediation layers, etc)
