Summary
We’re looking for designers to make an impact every day by helping us transform in-home care for older adults. You’ll be creating beautiful experiences across our products for clients, caregivers, and older adults, collaborating with other designers and extending our design language. In addition, you will be support marketing on branded visual design efforts such as print, web and mobile. We want a big-picture thinker with a bias towards execution to make sure all of our tools are efficient and delightful as we scale our service across the country.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with other Product Designers to build out components and systems which fulfill user needs, while maintaining cross-product consistency * Conduct user research, gather requirements, and help compose product briefs * Take complex workflows and distill them down to the most intuitive way to complete tasks * Map end-to-end workflows, design interactions, make prototypes, and test your ideas with users * Work with the marketing and creative director to develop visual layouts for print, web and mobile advertising and marketing campaigns * Design, maintain, and export graphics and/or animations for production * Partner with Hometeam's product and engineering teams to implement designs and improve existing experiences
Ideal Candidate
**Desired qualifications:** * You have a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years experience in UI/UX design * You’re fluent in Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite, but just as comfortable at the whiteboard or contributing to a design discussion * You have experience designing across multiple platforms, including both web & native mobile applications * You’re able to distill complex ideas in simple, intuitive, and delightful interfaces * You have a point of view, and you’re comfortable presenting and defending it (while being open to feedback) * You want to make a difference in the lives of older adults, their families and their caregivers **Bonus points:** * Your portfolio has examples of complex experiences (think scheduling/calendaring, dashboards, or CMS/CRM tools) as well as beautiful brand oriented works. * You have a talent for illustration, data visualization, or motion design * Proficiency in HTML/CSS
