Parts Runner - Longo Toyota

The Parts Runner is responsible for pulling and delivering parts for the Parts Department.

* Pulls and delivers parts to the technicians. * Picks-up cores and warranty parts from technicians’ stalls. * Helps with stocking and posting orders when they arrive. * Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to other dealers’ or/and guest when needed. * Ensures the golf cart is kept clean. * Helps shipping maintain our tire inventory. * Assists the Service Department move cars when necessary. * Helps shipping and receiving when necessary. * Operates the forklift when necessary. * Helps the inventory control clerk with 7% return, bin checks, etc. when necessary. * Ensures their work areas are kept clean and in order. * Assist the body shop with their orders when necessary * Assist parts department as needed with inventory and stocking. * Performs other specific administrative functions as directed by management. * Helps maintain the professional appearance of the parts department. * Maintains professional appearance at all times. * Maintains high ethical standards in all actions.

* A high school diploma or equivalent; * A minimum of six (6) months experience in a stock room, preferably in automotive; * Knowledge of mathematical principles (adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying, and percentages) and application; automotive parts, desired; * Ability to coordinate activities with other employees; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language; * Must have a valid driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
