Our Company

At Paladino, we consider sustainability to be the key driver of business value and competitive advantage. Established in 1994, Paladino and Company is an industry leading green building and sustainability consulting firm. Our team of architects, engineers, building scientists, commissioning agents and business analysts advise clients from a range of industries, including commercial real estate, higher education, hospitality, industrial, multifamily and mixed-use. We serve clients nationally and around the world. Paladino has been a leader in the development of the LEED® Green Building Rating System since the inception of the U.S. Green Building Council. We invented the LEED Reference Guide, directed the LEED Pilot program and are the technical editor and author of the LEED v4 reference guides. We consult across an enterprise’s entire real estate supply chain. Our clients rely on us to successfully tackle even the most ambitious sustainability projects – whether it is a single building applying for LEED certification, or a volume green building program for hundreds of properties. Over the last decade, the LEED rating system has transformed the way the built environment is designed, constructed, and operated. The transformation towards building green has produced an array of strategies that are proven to reduce operational costs, improve employee satisfaction and retention, and extract profit. But sustainable buildings also play a crucial role in preserving our environment and enhancing our communities through outcomes such as reducing carbon emissions, conserving water, and protecting occupant health.
