Senior Engineer: Javascript

Paintzen is looking for a seasoned programmer to lead its engineering team towards Javascript enlightenment. We are a small, focused, and passionate team, obsessed with covering walls with beautiful paint and covering code with beautiful tests. We are building a sustainable, reusable, and scalable codebase in an agile environment with continuous deployment. We believe in doing it right the first time and building for the long-term. We want you to help our engineering team find its way, leading by example as well as being the interface to other parts of the organization.

• Collaborate on the design and implementation of our system services and front-end
• Lead and teach a team of developers best practices for coding JavaScript
• Continuously look for ways to improve Paintzen, our website and our company
• Write clean, modular, x-browser, debuggable JavaScript code
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to prove code quality

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, with solid fundamentals.
• 6+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with MongoDB, ExpressJS and NodeJS
• Experience with AngularJS or ReactJS
• Demonstrated ability to code a JS library from scratch
• Impeccable communications skills.
• Daily meditation a plus.
