Responsibilities
* Collaborate with your team and engineering as a whole to prioritize and complete all points in a given sprint * Work with the sales, customer support, and finance teams to create long-term solutions to company challenges * Fix process fails as a team (without assigning individual blame) * Take personal responsibility for your work and hold a high standard of quality to everything * Aspire to get a perfect score on the Joel test
Ideal Candidate
**You should apply if you meet these minimum qualifications:** * General knowledge of software engineering, programming, and computer science * 3+ years professional experience with at least two years front end * Love for and extensive experience with JavaScript, responsive HTML, and CSS * Experience with at least two JS frameworks (Angular, Backbone, React, etc) * Experience with JS modules and module loaders * An understanding of what CORS and JSONP are and when to use them **You should really seriously apply if any of the following applies to you:** * Working on several different technologies (Ruby, Node, etc.) * Communicating development concepts to non-technical folks and working closely with them to solve big-picture problems * Speaking up and challenging existing ideas and processes * Humility: You develop software with the end product—rather than ego—in mind * Pragmatism: You know you won’t always have the resources to do everything and can be realistic about ideas and timelines * Flexibility: You’re willing to work on projects other than programming, including but not limited to software design, documentation, code reviews, and leadership initiatives

All positions at OwnLocal are salaried, paid out monthly and include company stock options. This position offers a salary of $90,000+ depending on experience.
