Summary
This position primary function is to respond to a variety of inquiries via the web and/or telephone by PACCAR dealers regarding order placement, expediting, order modification, shipping, availability and pricing.
Responsibilities
* Advise customers concerning order status, changes, shpping information, product availability, product programs and pricing policies * Negotiate vendor availability and lead times based on dealer needs * Resolve issues pertaining to shipments, expediting and special order handling * Special Projects as required
Ideal Candidate
* High school diploma required * Bachelor's degree or two years of college level studies in business or related field preferred * Two or more years in Customer Service * Excellent communication skills both verbal and written * Strong Negotiation skills * Ability to work in a demanding and fast paced environment * Ability to multi-task in a demanding customer oriented environment * Positive attitude towards service whil managing difficult situations * Strong PC skills, including Word, Excel, as well as typing skills * Excellent problem solver * Highly attentive to details * Demonstrated ability to follow up on tasks until they are brought to closure * French or Spanish language a plus
