Responsible for software engineering and supporting areas to include: Java experience such as Garbage collector tuning, JVM tuning for server class applications, expertise in multithreading and collection framework; Hadoop Ecosystem and cloud technology like AWS; Linux or other Unix style operating systems including understand of POSIX and security features like AES encryption; distributed computing algorithms including BFS, map/reduce, and sorting; designing/architecting Enterprise scale software services; Python scripting language; and statistics including understanding of statistical measurement, hypothesis testing, and regression. Architect, design and implement scalable machine learning pipeline. Design and implement code that aggregates search results from a variety of sources and ranks them appropriately. Design and implement code that produces a metric to test and verify the ranking results. Work with product owner and internal customers to refine product requirements. Maintain clear and effective communication with the team and other teams as necessary. Participate in full software development lifecycle – Design, Implementation, Testing, and Release.

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and 8 years exp. to involve Java experience including Garbage collector tuning, JVM tuning for server class applications, expertise in multithreading and collection framework. Also, 2 years exp. stated herein to include: * Hadoop Ecosystem and cloud technology like AWS * Linux or other Unix style operating systems including understand of POSIX and security features like AES encryption * Distributed computing algorithms including BFS, map/reduce,and sorting * Designing/architecting Enterprise scale software services * Python scripting language experience.
