Summary
Provides daily ongoing deployment, configuration, support, administration, maintenance and technical solutions to various technology components that make up the IT Infrastructure environment.
Responsibilities
* Develops or modifies IT Infrastructure to meet business objectives. * Maintain and implement technical solutions, specifications, and documentation for various sized projects or daily support initiatives. * Works with multiple customers, stakeholders, and system owners to produce requirements, determine feasibility, analyze cost/benefits requirements, and recommend design solution options. * Provide training and technical support for users with varying levels of IT knowledge. * Completes routine preventative measures and maintains/monitoring network security. * Coordinate application migration process through non-production and production environments according to change control policies and procedures. * Work with project managers, development teams, and operations personnel to coordinate IT implementations and ensure established timelines are met. * Participate in audit reviews of change management throughout the organization. * Work with both business and technical representatives to develop and enhance change management processes.
Ideal Candidate
**Education:** * Bachelor's degree in Information Science or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. **Experience:** * Experienced with Windows Server2000/2003/2008, Active Directory, SQL Server, Network, Switching/Routing, Firewalls, Data Archival, LAN, WAN, VoIP, MPLS, Monitoring and Messaging Systems. * Strong understanding of CM methodologies and best practices (ITIL) as well as experience developing and enhancing complex processes. * Significant change management or build engineer experience. * Experience working across multiple functional areas to achieve a common business purpose. * A solid understanding of job scheduling as well as job setup and troubleshooting experience. **Competencies – Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:** * Strong analytical, judgment and problem solving skills. * Strong oral and written communication skills. * Strong interpersonal skills, interacts will with technical and non-technical clients. * Strong time management and organizational skills. * Familiarity with NIST requirements and documentation. * Excellent coordination, documentation and organizational skills. * Knowledge of Help/Systems iSeries products, Softmenu, Team Foundation Server, ChangeGear or similar change management tools.
