Senior Software Engineer

Mousera empowers biomedical investigators with technology that accelerates the preclinical drug discovery and development pipeline. Researchers can design, run, and analyze experiments that rapidly surface insights and high volumes of quality data.

We’ve scaled fast and this Senior engineering role is a critical addition to our development team. Alongside talented engineers you will work up and down our stack shipping code at a rapid pace. • Design and deliver applications and services that will be the cornerstone of our public launch.
• Collaborate with experts across data science, computer vision, and software engineering.
• Help drive the next evolution of our platform while building a strong engineering culture.

• 3+ years experience building systems in Python, Django, or Flask.
• A Strong desire to write elegant code and tackle difficult problems.
• Experience delivering scalable service based architectures.
• Strong background in relational database technologies, Postgres is preferred.
• A passion for automation and test driven development.
• The desire to innovate across our entire software and hardware stack.

Bonus points for:

• Experience with Cassandra or another NoSQL database.
• Expertise developing in Javascript with AngularJS.
• Working in large scale AWS environments.
• Background with container technologies such as Docker or LXC.
