Summary

Partner with Medix today! We are currently seeking a Billing Customer Service Representative for one of our leading clients.

As a Billing Customer Service Representative you will be dealing with patient inquiries and complaints as well as issues as reported via phone or customer service calls and correspondence regarding billing.

Responsibilities
  • Taking inbound calls from patients regarding questions on their bills
  • You will receive 30-60 calls from patients and providers in reference to payment issues, patient service issues and updates on insurance data
  • Effectively research, resolve and respond to billing issues accurately
  • Responsible for determining nature of calls and documenting via claim system
Ideal Candidate
  • High School Diploma
  • Must have experience with EOB, CPT, ICD-9/10 & HCPCS
  • Externship and/or 1+ year of Billing experience or related field
  • Comfortable being on the phone and providing information on patient bills
  • Ability to pass a background and drug screening
