Summary
Working closely with Product Managers and developers, you will be designing our next generation UI. In a complex space, you will be responsible for simplifying and streamlining the process and workflow for getting things done. We are looking for an exceptionally talented Lead UX/UI Designer with extensive interactive experience working with complex workflows and hard to reach users. This is a role of huge importance and carries with it an opportunity to change the way we interact with our customers.
Responsibilities
* Work with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to help set the product direction. * Design user experience for a highly interactive website, from concept to iterative improvements, ensuring that design and interaction blend with business, customer and technical requirements. * Produce design visualizations to help everyone understand what the best experience should be: storyboards, flows, wireframes, prototypes, designs. * Work closely and constructively with cross-functional teams to iterate and deliver flawlessly on what has been proposed. * Awesome at synthesizing product requirements, technical constraints, user research and web analytics into efficient user scenarios and design solutions. * Evaluates the effectiveness of new and existing UX elements in the product by incorporating user feedback, and best practices in order to continuously evolve and improve the product. * Champion a user-centered design process throughout the organization. * Do rapid iterations of design work based on user feedback, quickly course-correcting and making the user interaction better every time through. * Define key UX metrics, track and analyze product performance, and assess customer and industry feedback.
Ideal Candidate
* Track record of designing B2B online applications and SaaS products. * Strong communication and inter-personal skills. Ability to work with cross-functional teams (product, tech, data, sales). * Great problem-solving skills and passionate, almost OCD-like attention to detail. * A thorough understanding of interaction/user-centric design and proven visual design. * Excellent ability to wield Sketch (or Photoshop or Illustrator) and other design and prototyping tools. * Experience conducting User Tests and User Interviews. Confident in presenting research results and learnings to team and upper management. * Comfortable working in an Agile environment and implementing Lean UX principles. * Strong design process. * We’ll be excited to see your phenomenal, knock-our-socks-off online portfolio that demonstrates your world-class experience in designing interactive products. * Experience working across all platforms: desktop, mobile, and tablet. * BA / BS required. Focus on Human Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or Graphic Design preferred. Master’s degree a plus.
