UI/UX Design Lead, Creative Vertical

Twitch is the world’s leading video platform and community for gamers, with more than 100 million visitors per month. We connect gamers from around the world by allowing them to broadcast, watch, and chat with each other. Twitch’s live and on-demand video platform forms the backbone of a distribution network for video game broadcasters including pro players, tournaments, leagues, developers and gaming media organizations.

As our Twitch Creative: Design Lead, and an experienced senior UI/UX Designer, you will be vital in helping to lead the charge through design. You will form a deep seated opinion on the direction of this venture and take ownership over the design strategy. You will be gathering and providing requirements, sketching solutions and building prototypes. You will participate in all stages of our design process alongside the larger Twitch Design Team from conception through release.

• Design and successfully release projects, including full-page redesigns and brand new features
• Communicate your plans and question your own and others' assumptions
• Conduct iterative planning and feedback before committing to methods using digital wireframes, white-boarding and/or writing
• Synthesize user feedback, user research and data
• Efficiently communicate goals and design direction with key stakeholders

• You have 7+ years of experience designing modern consumer-focused products
• You have a portfolio showing off your user experience and visual design work
• You have a desire to understand success and failure better through objective analysis
• You have the ability to produce working or semi-functional prototypes during project planning
• You can write in HTML and CSS to make sure everything is top quality
• You have experience working closely with engineers to achieve goals

• Formal education in Graphic Design, Interaction/UX Design or HCI
