Summary
Are you excited about leading the delivery of cutting edge software in a dynamic and fast paced environment addressing the needs of some of the top brands in the world? LivePerson is currently seeking a Product Manager to join our Product House in our Alpharetta, GA office.
Responsibilities
* Create functional and UI specifications, wire frames, mockups and any other supporting materials needed to frame the design and implementation of the product * Reviews with requestor groups and development teams and be the main contact for the specifications during the software development and implementation phases * Interface with all relevant stake holders to drive timely, seamless and successful rollouts/launches * Develop a strong understanding of foundational backend technology issues and the impact they have on other areas of the product. The successful candidate must be comfortable discussing Responsive and Adaptive websites, external facing APIs, REST concepts, etc. * Manage multiple projects and schedules with shared resources * Create and maintain relevant product documentation for various internal and external customers
Ideal Candidate
* 4-5 years’ experience as a Product Manager * Prior R&D experience – advantage * Relevant education – BA/B.Sc. - Computer Related- must. M.Sc. - nice to have * Experience working with Web technologies & APIs * Relevant industry - Messaging, SMS, Chat, Automotive, Real Estate, Multi-Family – an advantage * Ability to build rapport with customers, internal constituencies and multi-national executives * Ability to grasp and translate market/customer problems and opportunities to clearly articulated product requirements * Detail oriented execution style * SaaS and Agile/SCRUM experience – an advantage * Excellent communication skills: collaborating, negotiating, persuading, writing, public speaking - fluent in English
