We are currently seeking an Associate Director, Information Management Office to join our Global Information Protection Team in our Dallas Tx office.
- Support the development and implementation of KPMG's global information management and protection strategy, and managed security services capabilities to meet client expectations
- Work with internal business groups to deploy and maintain internal and external information protection capabilities
- Keeps abreast of security related technology, practices and regulations in the marketplace and validates tools for use to improve the Managed Security Services offerings
- Support the Managed Vulnerability Assessments services (Network, Host, Infrastructure) and Threat Intelligence capability
- Support the Global Event and Incident Management (GEIM) processes including working with IPG and GSOC to verify that incidents are identified and documented through resolution and that practices are in place to help ensure the prevention, detection, containment and correction of security incidents
- Works with the Director of Global Managed Security Services to identify needs for managed security services staff to attend specialized training
- Minimum of ten years of information management and protection experience, with a preference for six plus years within Security Operations
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Master's degree from an accredited college/university is preferred
- Previously managed/developed security monitoring and incident response capabilities or previously /managed/developed an enterprise-wide vulnerability management program
- Strong working knowledge of networking technology and tools, firewalls, infrastructure monitoring (IPS, IDS, SIEM), vulnerability management products, endpoint protection tools and encryption
- Experienced in the automation of manual processes such as vulnerability management
