Responsibilities
* Develop schematics, interconnects and one-line drawings from engineering sketches or mark-ups. * Maintain master drawing set with current revisions for the electrical and controls design drawings. * Assist in the analysis, inspection, and construction of designs while adhering to electrical quality standards and procedures. * File master sets/originals, superseded drawings and originals as required in a timely manner. * Complete as-builts by utilizing Request for Information (RFI) forms, Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and red-marked drawings from construction to develop “Conformed to Construction Records” as required. * Mentor other team members on design and drafting principles, participate in planning meetings, and issue deliverables while coordinating with team members in Project Database.
Ideal Candidate
* Associate’s or vocational degree in drafting technology and one-three years’ of power plant design experience or related field; or high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of seven years’ power plant design experience * Experience utilizing a computer-aided drafting program (MicroStation, AutoCAD, Navis Works) and have knowledge of the latest computer operating systems * Thorough understanding of spreadsheets and databases
