Summary
The Technical Engineer III is a member of the Kasasa Production Team providing superior support to nationwide clients in varied and complex environments. An individual in this position acts as the technical expert during the implementation phase addressing questions and providing direction to client’s technical resources to ensure all tasks are completed properly to meet their specific requirements while embodying the Patch Values.
Responsibilities
* Infuse the Patch Values into your work ethic, every day and every interaction * Supports multiple OS platforms such as Windows XP, 2000, 2003 and 2008 servers with a concentration on MS Access and SQL Server * Provide great customer service while maintaining top levels of technical proficiency * Detail oriented in everything to include (but not limited to) written documentation, process flow, data integrity and software implementation. Provides guidance/direction to junior team members * Developing and implementing solutions to more complex issues using tools such as SQL and XML * Troubleshooting complex issues quickly, effectively and to completion * Display high levels of personal motivation and desire to exceed expectations * Manage the training documentation as requirements change to ensure accuracy * Comfortable working in a ticketing environment, taking ownership of tasks and drive to completion * Perform quality assurance testing and provide detailed documentation as needed * Mentors Technical Engineer I and II team members to expedite on-boarding timeline * Manage the Technical Engineer training documentation as requirements change to ensure accuracy * Ability to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in three or more Kasasa products/tools * Help define Implementation Best Practices * Provides feedback regarding continual process improvement * Proactively seek additional tasks or responsibilities and assist other teams as needed
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience * 5+ years of experience in SQL, XML, and HTML. Knowledge of banking industry is a plus; 5+ years of experience in troubleshooting complex issues and defining timely resolutions * High level of professionalism * Advanced understanding of software development tools and writing queries * Advanced experience and knowledge of software designed to connect with remote systems (i.e. Terminal Services Client (RDP), Bomgar) * Possess a strong understanding of networking, internet concepts and is familiar with various types of operating systems * Extensive experience in customer service/support. Demonstrated ability to utilize computer systems (i.e. MS Office, MS SQL, and Relational databases) * Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas both written and verbally * Superb attention to detail and ability to multi-task * Strong ability to effectively prioritize between multiple clients and related tasks and create a sense of urgency, successfully managing multiple priorities
