Responsibilities
* Responsible for developing and implementing a long term support program for the region which continually improves user efficiency and capability. * Responsible for leading and managing multiple projects and teams in support of regional initiatives and clinical systems implementation. Leads and/or supports the implementation of clinical strategic plans and cost improvement efforts. Provides leadership for multidisciplinary clinical and business systems implementations. Leadership includes project scoping and planning, staff management, analysis and issue resolution, and deliverable development and presentation. Proactively recognizes organizational improvement areas and communicates frequently with senior leadership. * Position is also responsible for building a strong departmental culture and strengthening intradepartmental relationships. Position will help to foster a professional, result-oriented, collaborative environment. Applies process improvement methods and tools to improve and/or redesign organizational business processes. Provides strategic direction to subordinate managers and supports staff professional growth.
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in healthcare field * Minimum ten (10) years of progressive management experience in a health care setting required **Additional Requirements:** * Proven leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills are required * Ability to lead large team projects (both in size and scope) to successful completion and manage highly visible, sensitive business issues through influence, collaboration, and diplomacy * Implementation of projects/initiatives that involve significant amounts of change management * Ability to utilize project management skills for multiple complex initiatives/clinical implementations * Ability to determine the key business issues and develop appropriate project plans from multi-disciplinary perspectives * Ability to analyze and communicate complex and diverse regulatory and operational issues * Collaboration and expert skills in complex analytic problem solving and decision making * Ability to provide consultation to and build and maintain strong working relationships with multiple levels of leadership, including physicians, employees and unions * Proficient in team building, conflict resolution, group interaction and dynamics * Must possess superior interpersonal skills (oral and written), coaching and mentoring skills, presentation skills, and must exemplify key leadership attributes * Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment **Preferred Education and Experience:** * Master’s degree * Understanding of the operations of KP preferred
