Summary
An international medical manufacturing company, located near Monroeville, PA, is seeking an Office Assistant.
Responsibilities
* Seeking an Office Assistant to provide personalized and confidential assistance with discretion and judgment. * Duties are varied in nature, requiring independent action and judgment * Maintains calendars; Schedules appointments and meetings, confirms attendance and makes appropriate arrangements prior to meeting/event. * Utilize judgment and be able to set priorities, organize appointments/meetings and keep leadership informed. * Performs administrative duties assigned. Serves as liaison for assigned areas. * Takes accurate messages, distributes messages, and follows-up as appropriate. * Maintains confidentiality of all records and issues handled in the assigned areas. * Makes travel arrangements, including hotel accommodations, flight arrangements, car rental, etc.
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum of an Associate’s Degree preferred along with previous experience required. Experience working in a medical/scientific environment is a plus however not required. * Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email. Must have excellent typing and data entry skills. * Impeccable verbal and written communication skills required. * Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and ability to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events. * Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality. * Must maintain confidentiality at all times. * Must possess the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information skillfully and maintain confidentiality.
