Summary
This position will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and capturing new opportunities with prospects. You will conduct warm and cold prospecting calls to qualify opportunities over the phone while teaming with our Account Managers and Sales Directors to ensure a successful transition. This is a temp-to-perm position.
Responsibilities
* Qualify sales inquiries through outbound calls and email communications. * Outbound to prospects that fit our customer profile and introduce them to Ipswitch. * Schedule follow up calls for Account Manager’s through Outlook and Salesforce, our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool. * Proactively maintain technical knowledge and understanding of product and potential impacts of new and competing technologies. * Prepare and send appropriate follow-up, marketing and collateral materials via email to prospective clients. * Must be able to consistently produce a high outbound call volume.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent sales experience. MBA a plus * Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong ability to develop a professional rapport, overcome objections and persuade while maintaining a dynamic and professional demeanor and presence over the phone. * Must be highly motivated, possess positive attitude and have excellent organizational skills. * Willingness to work independently with results orientated work ethic.
