Summary
This role will lead Sales Enablement activities and programs for the Mobility GBU with a strong emphasis on transforming HP’s sales enablement assets, tools, processes and capabilities to support the Mobility business. The position will work closely with the Mobility GBU and Region Category and Sales teams, as well as internal HP business partners, e.g., L&D;, to increase sales effectiveness in support of the Mobility growth plans.
Responsibilities
* Strategically drive a broad range of Sales Enablement offerings, programs and delivery vehicles to support mobility solutions * Develop innovative methods to bring sales content to life for our internal and channel partner sales teams, including training and incentive programs * Identify opportunities for process improvement, develop recommendations, and convert recommendations into increases in sales effectiveness * Manage and lead key programs involving multiple functions and teams to drive the development and implementation of sales plays, sales portals and mobile sale enablement applications to deliver content to sales teams * Own responsibility for defining and achieving sales enablement metrics * Direct the development of overall program strategy, budgets, resource allocation plans, and general program requirements to ensure successful execution of sales enablement initiatives and programs * Communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to stakeholders; collaborate with GBU and region category and sales teams and HP internal partners, e.g., WW Sales, WW Channel Sales, L&D;, to recommend and implement changes to processes or business practices to drive continuous improvement in Sales effectiveness
Ideal Candidate
**Education and Experience Required** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent * Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience. 2-3 years post advanced degree experience developing and leading sales enablement programs. **Knowledge and Skills Required** * Experience supporting sales teams, sales management and channels with enablement content and training. * Knowledge of industry best practices in sales enablement and ability to drive transformational changes to existing approaches. * Ability to translate marketing messaging into field executable training and situational exercises; experience managing external vendors to develop enablement and training content such as playbooks, training, role-playing simulations etc. * Aptitude and interest in use of innovative technologies to deliver enablement content & training (mobile apps, podcasts, LMS, collaboration technologies, social, and e-learning platforms such as Brain Shark, etc.) * Advanced, in-depth understanding of sales enablement and sales force effectiveness including basic knowledge of Salesforce.com, pipeline management, and progressing opportunities through the sales stages. Strong understanding of channel enablement * Proven experience leading virtual teams across multiple organizations and geographies toward a common plan and set of deliverables. * Proven program management and process improvement experience in fast-paced organizations; Excellent negotiating, influencing, team-building, relationship management and conflict-resolution skills . Ability to lead through influence in large complex organizations * Very strong written and verbal communication skills, including advanced presentation and persuasion skills * Ability to interact with all levels of the company top to bottom, including senior sales leaders and executives * Flexibility and adaptability to take on new projects and areas of responsibilities as the business grows and expands. * Strong measurement and analytical ability
