• Architecture, implementation, and maintenance of security controls in AWS
• Application security testing
• Advising teams on application/cloud-oriented security architecture and best-practices
• The skills necessary to be independant in deploying and testing tools, systems, and creating a security program

• An understanding of the challenges and advantages unique to security and privacy in the public cloud and in agile/DevOps environments
• Scripting experience (esp. with Python)
• Familiarity with Application security testing methodologies and best practices Familiarity with the security issues associated with distributed systems in general and large scale Internet services in particular
• An understanding of modern deployment tools like Jenkins, Git, Docker, etc.
• An understanding of how networks and common networking protocols work
