What started as an alternative infrastructure for one client in 2005 has evolved into a global platform supporting nearly 400 firms and continuing to grow every day. The First Hedge Fund Cloud In 2005, Eze Castle Integration built and deployed the first hosted cloud platform for a large hedge fund based in New York City. Over the course of the following year, 18 funds spun out of the initial firm, each choosing to rely on Eze Castle’s cloud platform for their technology needs. In 2008, Eze Castle opened its hedge fund hotel in New York, combining the company’s cloud computing platform with fully managed office suites for startup funds. The cloud environment supported 200+ users and was the early foundation for what has since become the Eze Private Cloud. In 2009, Eze Castle officially launched its Eze Private Cloud, delivering a fully-hosted IT platform for hedge funds and investment firms across the U.S. By the following year, more than 30 applications were running in the Eze Private Cloud (today that figure is more than 85). The Eze Private Cloud has grown immensely since its inception and today supports more than 350 clients across the United States, United Kingdom and Asia.
