Summary
Boutique Integrated Marketing Communications and Public Relations firm in midtown Manhattan seeks a candidate for the position of Account Supervisor, Lifestyle Division. Candidate must have senior level experience in Integrated Marketing Communications, Public Relations and Business Development, with a proven ability to successfully manage high profile brands, and with a particular expertise in the Luxury Lifestyle sector. Candidate must be adept at multi-tasking, working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment, as well as possess strong management, financial and communication skills. Only candidates with substantial experience in the development, execution and financial management of brand/product integrated marketing communications and public relations plans, events and promotions will be considered. Candidate must also have excellent written and oral communication skills, have well established industry relationships, as well as be able to develop, negotiate and manage strategic marketing and promotional partnerships.
Responsibilities
* Ideate and execute strategic media and business plans * Cultivate relationships with top-tier consumer, business, and trade press for clients * Secure top tier press meetings for clients in broadcast, print, and digital * Serve as a day-to-day contact for clients * Participate in new business recommendations, proposals, and presentations * Manage and develop team of Associate Account Executives, Account Executives, and Senior Account Executives * Coordinate media tours and press events * Oversee event execution and budgets in line with client platforms * Assist with core message development for brand platforms * Identify and forge relationships with relevant strategic partners * Develop and manage comprehensive media databases for clients * Draft press releases * Monitor and identify trends/hot topics on a daily basis and apply them to client needs and programming
Ideal Candidate
* Must have minimum of 6 Years’ PR & AGENCY experience * Experience with successfully managing high profile/prestige/luxury clients * Strong media contacts (regional, national, international) * Experience in senior-level pitching & feature development (inclusive of broadcast) * Exceptional written & oral communications skills * Team player * Proactive with ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic working environment * Detail oriented * BS in related field such as Marketing, PR, Communications, and/or Journalism
