Eventbrite powers ticketing and registration for more than two million live experiences each year, hosting the world’s largest online selection of events. We build technology that allows anyone to create, share, find and attend events of all kinds. Music festivals, marathons, conferences, hackathons, political rallies, fundraisers, gaming competitions— you name it, we power it.

Events can be complicated and stressful. Visual Designers clear the clutter and help build visuals that empower the people that use them. They share the massive goal of crafting highly usable and beautiful interactions for the world’s best organizer tools and attendee experiences. Eventbrite Design is developing and evolving our existing design system that allows teams to build faster and more consistently across the world. Our team will lead the way by articulating a clear vision of the future through courageous, bold, forward-thinking design solutions and systems.

You sweat the details to create beautiful and accessible designs, designing for the user and not for yourself. You bring concepts and ideas to life that feel both intuitive and familiar. You build and manage consistent visual systems that reinforce brand values and consistency. You’ll bring these superpowers to life by collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers and other Designers to tackle challenging and intellectually-satisfying projects. You’ll participate in all stages of the process – from concept to execution – to design a compelling vision, creating comprehensive visual systems and inspire teams to push the boundaries of what’s possible. * 3+ years of experience designing amazing web products for consumer-facing websites * Showcase a range of skills from product design, interaction design and visual design to craft an amazing user experience * Ability to simplify complex UIs & dashboards into great user interfaces * Implement established & new design methods in a fast-moving design environment that amplifies the productivity of the team * Combine iconography, color, white space and depth to help users navigate products * Proficiency in HTML/CSS and bringing your designs to life * Ability to generate pixel-perfect assets as deliverables * A comprehensive understanding of mobile-first design, optimizing for mobile experiences * Ability to prototype using a variety of design tools and techniques is a plus * Strong portfolio showcasing real work you’ve shipped and your design process * A degree in human computer interaction, visual design, interaction design, human factors, information architecture, or a related field
