Summary
Frontline is looking for a passionate and creative UX Designer to become a part of our Development team. As one of the core team members, you will channel user feedback, business needs, and design best practices into strategic workflows and beautiful user interfaces that delight our customers. We are looking for someone who cares about each detail without losing the big picture and can work closely with developers to deliver the final product.
Responsibilities
* Take ownership of improving and maintaining the user experience for one or more applications * Collaborate closely with Product Managers to understand our users and document their needs in visual formats including personas, task flows, customer journey maps, et al. * Design engaging user interfaces that reflect our brand values and our users’ mental model of the system * Communicate details clearly through style guides, wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and direct interaction with team members * Build and maintain strong working relationships with your fellow team members and stakeholders * Participate in regular design reviews, shared projects, and other company-wide design efforts. * Skills we are looking for * Outstanding user interface design skills with common sense solutions to user problems * Able to rapidly create low-fidelity sketches, wireframes, and/or prototypes of new ideas for validation * Experience capturing user problems and translating them into clear solutions and recommendations * Able to provide expert-level guidance on web standards, usability best practices, and UI trends * Can hand-code semantic, standards-compliant HTML and CSS when necessary * Some experience designing for mobile devices and/or responsive web applications is preferred * Experience working within an Agile-based project environment is a plus!
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications, Key Skills and Competencies** * Degree in a design-related field (e.g. HCI, Web Design, Interaction Design) or 4 years of relevant experience * Portfolio of past UI work samples * At least 4 years of experience as a UX, UI, or Product Designer * At least 4 years of experience with Adobe Suite applications (primarily Photoshop) **Personal Attributes** * Effectively prioritizes and executes tasks with high attention to detail * Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and can work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment * Displays a high degree of personal integrity and exemplary personal and professional ethical standards * Committed to the company, team, and product’s success and desires to grow in areas of expertise as needs evolve
