Summary
DISH Network has an employment opportunity for individuals with energy, intellect, and the need to achieve as a Regional Sales Manager.
Responsibilities
* Manages the sales activities, personnel, and customer satisfaction efforts for a region * Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals * Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly * Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates * Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals * Advises dealers, distributors, and clients concerning sales and advertising techniques * Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product * Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals * Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion * Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition * Responsible for all hiring and development of Account Managers * Responsible for meeting and exceeding sales quotas, KPI’s and performance metrics on a weekly and monthly basis * Responsible for pursuing new business opportunities including but not limited to malls, events, state fairs, trade shows, etc with distributors, retailers and sales staff * Other duties as required. Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; and four plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience * 3+ years supervisory/management experience * Responsible for managing the performance of exempt staff located across a wide territory * Effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff. * Excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills. * High level of computer expertise, including use of internet, database, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation applications and Siebel. * Flexible, innovative and the ability to manage time and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment while being personal and professional * Ability to travel 60-80% of the time
