Summary
This HR Business leader will partner with corporate leaders and teams in achieving business objectives by acting as human resources lead in talent planning, organization design support and restructure, job profiles and career planning, separation, performance, talent development and employee relations. Oversee HR compliance framework including HR policy and procedures governance for enterprise. Partner with HRVPs’, HR functions and other stakeholders on a range of corporate initiatives and enterprise human resources needs.
Responsibilities
* Partner by providing counsel and recommendations on Human Resources matters with corporate leaders and teams (clients) including but not limited to: Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Information Technology, Marketing. * Proactively address business opportunities and issues and contribute to achieving business goals with clients by supporting a broad range of human resources requirements including talent and performance management, career planning, organization design support, employee relations, compensation and succession planning. * Working closely with the HR leaders and functional teams, participate in the design, development, change management, communication and implementation of HR strategic and operational initiatives. * Provide leadership and oversight ensure HR compliance, policies and procedures are up to date and best practice and support business requirements. Ensures effective oversight and governance including compliance of enterprise HR policy, procedures and programs. * Lead the annual and long term talent strategy, workforce development and talent management plans to support business requirements for corporate groups. Identify solutions to solve human resources and talent issues with teams. * Lead the annual and long term planning for HR compliance and policy governance in support of business and legal requirements. Establish programs and processes to assure employment compliance and needs of business are met. * Provide insight, analysis, and policy support on a broad range of talent and human resource matters to support achievement of business outcomes. * Establish, create and present business case and manage department budgets * Assure plans and resources in place to support content expertise regarding the organization’s human resources related policies, procedures, laws and regulations * Enhance and encourage team culture to drive high performance and engagement, manage and mentor individual team members, development staff and ensure succession plan is in place for all positions on team. * Partner with leadership at all levels drive alignment and values including adherence to DN values and HPT. * Participate as a member of the Delaware North HR leadership team in formulating Delaware North HR strategy and objectives and collaborate with HR colleagues to implement cross business and enterprise-wide initiatives. * Establish meaningful relationships and trust and credibility at all levels. Build trust and respect based on results and focus on the needs of the business, rather than personalities. Able to connect and work with a wide variety of people. * Understand others’ motivations and perspective on things to obtain buy in to current requirements. Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in HR, Business or related field. * Ten (10) or more years of hands-on experience in human resources business partner or generalist with the last 5 to 7 years in a senior-level, ideally operating in a multi-divisional and a multi-national environment. * The successful candidate will be a proven leader with strong business and financial acumen, solid organizational and multitasking skills, superb interpersonal and relationship management skills. * SPHR, MBA or other HR certifications a plus.
