Responsibilities
**Job Summary:** Responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of the Real Estate Data Base (database). Provides expertise, training, and help desk in all modules of database to approximately 60 field employees who are sitting in Comcast’s Divisions, Regions, and other Business Units. In addition, will be responsible for administering and maintaining the data integrity of the database as well as maintaining policies and procedures to ensure protocols and security of the database. The position requires someone with experience with large real estate databases, the ability to organize work product from multiple sources, facility in conducting in person and web base training, and strong organization and computer skills. Travel within the United States is required. **Core Responsibilities:** - Ensures the continual operation of the lease/owned property publication process. - Coordinates the daily workflow of the database coordinating with the Director of Real Estate and others as necessary. - Provides knowledge and guidance to field staff in areas of expertise. - Answers database questions and inquiries on real estate or leasing issues as necessary. - Analyzes financial and operational data/performance metrics, communicates findings and risks, and makes suggestions to improve the process. - Processes monthly real estate rent payments. - Ensures compliance with processes, policies, and procedures and recommends changes to leadership. - Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. - Maintains open communication portal between CHQ real estate and field and/or business units. - Trains new users to work with the real estate database management software and manages the performance of all users. - Conducts financial analysis of all new lease transactions. Works with transaction team on an ad hoc basic to perform financial analysis of existing leases as requested. - Provides ad hoc reports, drawing on data provided by the Regions and Business Units, on the overall lease/own/real estate portfolio situation (e.g., renewals, expirations, vacancies, etc.). - Assists with new/additional system implementations and review development specifications as needed. - Tracks and analyzes key financial metrics and operational procedures to foster process improvements. - Leads the development and effective utilization of financial models and analysis. - Collaborates with leadership to maintain budgets and forecasts in finance systems. - Prepares financial reports and coordinates month and year-end processes. - Develops and utilizes financial models and analysis for Finance & Accounting staff. - Hires, supervises, trains, and develops Finance & Accounting staff. - Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary. - Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
