CoBank’s mission is to deliver comprehensive, flexible and effective financial solutions to customers throughout rural America. Our products and services include loans, leases, cash management and specialized financial instruments. We also help some of our U.S. agribusiness customers sell their products internationally. We don’t have retail branches or accept deposits. Instead, the funds for loans come primarily from the sale of Farm Credit securities to investors in the national and international money markets. One of the most important aspects of CoBank's value proposition is our cooperative structure – we are owned by our customers and they play an essential role in the bank’s governance. This unique business model gives customers a real stake in making sure that CoBank remains a strong and healthy financial partner. As a mission-based lender, CoBank is committed to serving as a good corporate citizen. The bank is an active supporter of charitable causes around the country, particularly in communities where its associates, directors and customers live and work.
