Summary
Leads and directs an IT Operations support area, and is responsible for and works with internal business partners in the implementation and post-deployment support of complex technology infrastructure projects which typically span multiple business functions and computing platforms.
Responsibilities
* Leads and directs the staff and work activities within an IT and Operations area and has full management responsibility for the performance and development of subordinate staff in accordance with corporate strategic direction. * Consults with business area management, technology infrastructure staff, suppliers and end-users in the support and implementation of new and existing technology infrastructure. Leads the identification and resolution of complex IT operations and performance issues. * Monitors and manages the group budget and participates in the departmental budgeting process. * Stays up to date on trends and developments within functional area of expertise and within the insurance industry. * Reviews systems specifications, technical and training implementations plans and leads complex post-deployment support projects with clients, developments staff, technology engineering, and vendors
