Customer Service Agent

Alaska's visitor industry continues to grow with travelers interest in Alaska's wilderness, wildlife, and Alaska Native culture. More people are interested in traveling independently, creating their own experiences and itineraries.

The Kenai Fjords Tours Customer Service Agent contributes to overall customer satisfaction by providing courteous customer service. Greets and assists guests and provides information about CIRI Alaska Tourism products, including Kenai Fjords Tours, Kenai Fjords Wilderness Lodge, Seward Windsong Lodge, and Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge.

**Major activities and duties include:** Assists customers in person and on the phone with information about tours, services and options, including prices, times, and general tour information. Assists with product sales promotion to customers. Accurately completes reservations on computer-based reservations system. Responsible for daily accounting reports and a balanced till at the end of each shift, including collection of all vouchers.

**Minimum experience:** Previous customer service experience in the tourism industry or in the State of Alaska; or any combination of experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities. Basic computer skills required.
