Summary
Position has overall responsibility for asset management of stabilized assets in a given region, asset type and/or portfolio.
Responsibilities
* Oversee management of assets to achieve maximum NOI for each property in assigned portfolio. * Provide direction and oversight to Regional VP and other members of the Property Management team, coordinate with other internal departments on issues such as budgeting, expense monitoring, contract implementation, risk management and the like to enhance returns and mitigate risks. * Responsible for setting strategy for commercial leasing including but not limited to providing guidance to Leasing staff and review of commercial leases prior to final execution. * With minimal direction and feedback Property Management Principal, conduct due diligence, review, negotiate, and comment on all key documents and oversee day-to-day interaction/negotiation with CIM internal departments, attorneys and outside parties throughout the lifecycle of the asset by executing the approved business plan. * Work with other CIM departments to ensure effective operations of each asset while complying with CIM’s operating procedures. * Actively manage assets including preparing and/or reviewing asset management reports with teams to mitigate potential risks and enhance investment results * Oversee the budgeting process and related reports for each asset.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in business related field plus minimum of ten years’ experience in real estate asset management (commercial, residential, mixed use). MBA a plus. * Detailed understanding of real estate investing and asset management across multiple property types (commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, etc.) * Demonstrated knowledge of Yardi or similar software * Demonstrated level of proficiency in Microsoft Office with particular emphasis in Excel.
