Summary
The Web Software Developer/Content Manager participates as high-level technical expert in design development, coding, testing, and debugging new and enhanced internal/external Website and SharePoint portal sites. In this role, this individual will be responsible for website management that encompasses support of the internal and external facing websites and SharePoint sites supported by the Shared Data Services program.
Responsibilities
* Support includes HTML programming and use of content management solutions, such as WordPress or Percussion, to perform general site maintenance and update content, which may include a shared services catalog. * Work closely with business analysts, change managers, IT engineers and the Program Manager to obtain and clarify development and content management requirements. In addition, to Web and SharePoint development activities, this role will also assist with writing and editing web content and developing supporting multimedia, including photos and video for websites.
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline. * Minimum of five(5) years specific and hands-on experience and knowledge of SharePoint site development, website development and content management support. * Experience with responsive usability technology is strongly desired.
